Differential Pressure Control Valve
The differential pressure control valve is a proportionally controlled valve that operates without any auxiliary energy. It provides hydraulic balancing of the building system and creates an even, homogeneous heat distribution. By supplying the required flow in the heating line, it eliminates noise problems caused by high flow and pressure.
By preventing unnecessary bypass, it allows circulation pumps to run less and therefore saves energy. The factory setting is 10 kPa, and the differential pressure valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically on the return line.
The desired differential pressure can be set between 5 and 25 kPa. The setting valve can be turned a total of 20 turns, each turn providing an average increase of 1 kPa. Starting at 5 kPa, the pressure reaches 25 kPa after 20 turns.
In buildings that use thermostatic radiator valves on their radiators, it provides excellent control thanks to its dynamic control feature. It prevents less hot water from reaching the upper floors due to the pressure difference caused by the floor height, and thus prevents uneven heating. Homogeneous heating can be achieved by using a dynamic differential pressure valve.
Regardless of usage habits, it provides automatic energy savings and can be readjusted on installed systems.
